About

Most people simply call me "The Daisy".

The Oops A Daisy Business was born to help generate income to offer additional means of supporting our family.  It was a very simple goal focused on doing something I loved.  With incredible support and cheering from my husband, we were able to create a gem.  Since 2010, we have established a wonderful little shop that our children are now growing into.  Personally, flowers make me feel lovely.  They are a part of every precious moment of my life.  From our prom to graduation, to our wedding day, to the birth of our children, to every Friday my husband came home with flowers....flowers.... flowers. Flowers tell me there is still so much good around us.

Oops A Daisy was named by our second youngest child when she was 3 years of age in 2010.  While writing my business plan, I paused to drink my tea and possibly begin to brainstorm a simple name for my dream.  My happy little 3 year old was playing off to the side, dragging a step stool here and there.  She would climb up on the step stool and then  jump off, over and over, all the while squeaking out a vibrant interrupting "oopsadaisy!".  Just when my mommy voice wanted to settle her down, I realized, that it was a perfect name and it would definitely do.  So, letting a child be a child, a company was born.

Youngest to Eldest, Flowers Keep Us Together

A Family Business

From our youngest child learning stem placement, to our young school age learning the color wheel and ribbon work, to the middle schoolers rendering biology & the understanding of floristry vs. bacteria and gases, to our young adult/teens refining customer service skills, organization, communication, accounting, marketing and management, Oops A Daisy is a very busy place.  Every interaction achieves to be a lesson in society and economics that is shaping our children.
